Upon receiving your registration and classroom completion we will mail you your MV3001 form that you will need to receive your Temporary license. The form is valid for 60 days. When you have studied your Motorists handbook and are ready to take your test, here are the things you need to bring to the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) –

  • The MV3001 Form ( Signed by us)
  • Social Security Card
  • Original Birth Certificate

At the (DMV), you will be given a 50 question multiple choice test along with a 15 question signs test. You must pass your test with 80% score or better. Please arrive at the DMV for testing at least 45 minutes before closing time.

After receiving your temps, please email us to set up your 6 behind the wheel sessions (2hrs each session). It is important to include the students name, the date of receiving temps and your child’s general schedule to complete the behind the wheel sessions. Please note: we do require a 48 hour cancellation notice on scheduled drives.

Driving instruction includes 6 sessions required by state law. Each session is 2 hours long. One hour is observation of another student and one hour is driving. Cruisin Safely will transport students for behind-the-wheel instruction, within a reasonable distance, as determined by us.
